GROUP ROLES: You will create 5 magazine features throughout this project to build your final, printed, magazine. Each week you will receive a new topic and role. Good luck, archaeologists!
Editor: will act as the leader for the week. The editor is in charge of assisting other students, giving constant critique, and approving the final version of the feature.
Designer: will act as the creative organizer for the week. The designer is in charge of researching various magazine layouts and determining the best placement for the feature based on the topic as well as length of written piece and size of illustration. The designer will also be taking photographs of the group working throughout the week for the DP.
Illustrator: will act as artist for the week. The illustrator is in charge of locating potential photographs to be included and/or creating an original art piece (drawing/painting/digital creation) to complement the written piece.
Writer: will act as author for the week. The writer is in charge of the text for the feature. The writer will research the topic and paraphrase, summarize, or quote information found, ensuring proper citations.
